What is a LifeGroup

A LifeGroup is a group of about 6-16 people who meet weekly to grow spiritually, invest in each other’s lives, fellowship, and serve together. An average gathering lasts about 90 minutes and meets in a home, restaurant, coffee shop, workplace, or the church.

At eFree, lifeGroups are the hub of our ministry. They’re the place where the real ministry of the church takes place as we study God’s Word while supporting and sharing our lives with one another. We believe that meeting together on a regular basis is time well spent.

When and Where Do They Meet? What Does It Cost? How Do I Sign Up For A LifeGroup? Are There LifeGroups for Teenagers? Are There LifeGroups for College Students?

As many as 80 LifeGroups meet at various times throughout the week in homes, restaurants, coffee shops, workplaces, and throughout the Kearney area and the surrounding community. Some groups even meet at the church (including Men’s, Women’s, and C20/Young-Adults).

Few things in life are free and LifeGroups are no exception! The cost of being in a LifeGroup is the cost of commitment. Part of that commitment is the promise to attend weekly, complete any homework, and participate in occasional service opportunities with your group.

You have the first three weeks to decide if your group is a good fit for you. When you join a LifeGroup, you’re promising to attend and be prepared each week. It’s this commitment that makes LifeGroups work.

There are two ways to sign up for a group – stop by our LifeGroup kiosk after worship services on Sunday morning or contact the eFree LifeGroup ministry assistant at megan@kearneyefree.com or 308.237.5968. We will gladly answer any questions and assist you in finding and connecting with a group that works for you.

Yes, our High School and Middle School Ministries both offer LifeGroups for students during Student Ministry gatherings on Wednesday nights. The Middle School Ministry offers LifeGroups for 6th through 8th grade students. The High School Ministry offers LifeGroups for freshmen through seniors.
