We have a diverse set of learners who attend Kearney Efree. Creative arts allows us to engage the auditory learner, the visual learner, and the kinesthetic learner in our services each Sunday. Painters, sculptors, photographer, graphic designers, creative writers narrators, builders, and more are encouraged to use their gifts to lead in this area of ministry.

Men In Action meets on the second Saturday of every month. This ministry’s purpose is to show Christ’s love and provide care to widows, single moms, and people in need. This is a group of men who help with Men’s Event planning and set-up.
This is a group of men who either facilitate or co-facilitate discussion at tables of 8-12 men during Forge sessions
This group plans, prepares, and serves breakfast to the men at Wednesday morning Forge.
This group runs the sound and visual media for Wednesday morning Forge.
Connect with students during game time, keep students on task during large group, and facilitate a small group. Pray for the small group throughout the week.
Help prepare and serve snacks on Wednesday nights, also help with meal preparation at special events.

C20 has several LifeGroups that meets throughout the week. This person would have a passion for discipling college students or young adults to growing in maturity in Christ.
A Check-in assistant welcomes families and helps them check-in to eFree Kids groups. Some software experience is helpful, but a welcoming attitude is most important.
Nursery Volunteers care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and seeking to create a positive experience while in the nursery.
Early Childhood volunteers assist the Group Team Leader by assisting kids (2’s – Kindergarten) with craft projects, snack time, lesson activities and music time. Curriculum and activities are all planned and prepared by church staff.
Elementary Small Group leaders assist the Class Team Leader by engaging with kids in small groups, and the whole class at times. Curriculum and activities are all planned and prepared by church staff.
Elementary Tech Volunteers control the lighting, audio and the presentation software to display videos, song slides, and sound fx.
Students in 6th-12th grade can assist, and when ready, lead in some key volunteer roles with eFree Kids ministry. Most students start by assisting a classroom leader with Early Childhood Sunday School classes. This is a great way for kids to begin to live out their own faith by serving others!
For women who want to invite others to follow Jesus, to get on and move along His discipleship path in the context of LifeGroup community on Monday Nights in the eFree Venue. After a semester or two at the church building, these groups will move into homes so that we can better focus on mission as salt & light in our Kearney neighborhoods!

You will offer the gift of listening and prayer, and will walk a little ways down the path in a difficult season to help someone find hope and move forward onto a healing path with Jesus. You will pass on this care ‘baton’ once you help her get connected to a healthy tribe of people in a CareGroup or LifeGroup. Training will be provided.

We want to help people move beyond merely surviving, to thriving in a relationship with Christ Jesus and all people! eFree Transit’s purpose is to provide the residents of the Kearney homeless shelters a ride to attend a church service here. Rides will be provided on a 12-passenger van. We need both van drivers and riders, so we can have two volunteers for each transit service. We would love to have you join our team
Advocates meet one-on-one with Storehouse participants, working towards financial health by identifying internal and external obstacles, setting goals, and providing encouragement along the way. This team member does not need to be well-versed in financial and budgeting skills, as all paperwork and training will be provided to serve in this role. Strengths for this position will primarily include a desire to encourage others, one-on-one discipleship, as well as a heart for those who are struggling and either living in poverty or trying to improve their current life situation. This role is for male and female leaders.
Our Hospitality Team runs the Storehouse during our Open Hours. This role primarily consists of welcoming guests and participants, assisting them with shopping in the Storehouse pantry, helping with current projects, answering the phone, and connecting with participants and guests who visit Storehouse throughout the week. This team member will receive training and will have access to the hospitality manual so they feel best equipped to answer any questions they may receive while serving.
This team provides complimentary beverages, purchasable specialty drinks and pastries, and a welcoming environment for conversation and reflection on Sunday mornings.

Every Sunday morning men and women attend eFree, who are silently holding burdens, longing for someone to care. Each week as our services conclude prayer partners make themselves available to listen, and then bring those requests before God. Volunteer requirements include: belief in prayer, gentleness, listening spirit, commitment to confidentiality.
This team follows up with first time guests and assists with selected Connection events.
WHO: If you have a healthy marriage and a healthy walk with the Lord and want to help marriages in our church and community, be trained to be a Marriage Mentor Couple. You don’t have to have a perfect marriage (since there are no perfect marriages). You just need to be willing to be used by God to help couples in need. You can complete this online training at your own pace, and it doesn’t obligate you to anything. So register, complete the training, and see if this is an area in which you would be willing to serve.
